Hightlights from the 8th of March Show
I was emailed a power point presentation a couple of weeks ago with a compilation of Brazilian radio programmes from the 40's to the 70's; this show I played a small excerpt of that presentation, but if you would like to hear or see the full version, here is the link: Radio dos anos 70 On your left is a picture of Vicente Leporace, broadcaster of the show O Trabuco ; the small segment of him that I played on the show is about the fear radio had of TV... I extended his comment by refering to machiavellic philosophy, which says that in order for a person to mantain his/her power, he/she needs to promulgate fear; hence the origin of the adjective in Portuguese or Spanish, that if you are a maquavelico (a) person, you are evil.
